Needs Charitable Trust is a non- political and non-religious organization responsible for providing shelter to children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and/or severe neglect. Needs Charitable Trust (Sneha Orphanage) puts its best foot forward in providing foster care for children upto the age of 18 years.

The children who live in Needs Charitable Trust (Sneha Orphanage) are either orphans with one or no parent to support and are deserted by relatives and society or one of the parent remarries and there is no one to take care of the child.

The objective of Needs Charitable Trust (Sneha Orphanage) is to facilitate the well being of underprivileged Women, Children and Older people irrespective of caste, creed, religion, sex or colour.they are:

With an expert staff & volunteers led by Mrs.Thomas we provide children with shelter, food, clothing, medical care & most significantly a new sense of comfort & security. Needs Charitable Trust (Sneha Orphanage) provides support for up to 27 young residents everyday.

Our staff members are specially trained to help children in crisis situation, meeting the sensitive needs of these children is a challenging undertaking. Mrs.Thomas & staff can rise to this challenge, but we need your help, get involved today & improve the quality of life for these deserving kids. MISSION:

MAIN STREAMING THE ORPHAN, SEMI ORPHANS, STREET BEGGARS, HIV-AIDS INFECTED PARENTS , SEX WORKERS, RAG PICKERS, AND PRISONERS CHILDREN BY PROVIDING CARE SUPPORT AND PROTECTION THROUGH EDUCATION SHELTER, EDUCATION, FOOD, MEDICAL CLOTHING.

PROVIDING QUALITY EDUCATION AND TRAINING TO THESE CHILDREN IN ORDER TO EQUIP THEM WITH LIFE SKILLS.

Our key areas of focus are as given below:

(a) To promote integrated development of the weaker section of the Indian Population through non- formal education and economic progress through self help groups.

(b) To promote awareness about social justice and civil rights among students, manual labourers, women and economically weaker sections of the society. We encourage them in community action in the fields of economic and cultural development.

(c) To undertake study and research on issues pertaining to development pursuance of which to establish reference libraries reading rooms, youth club community centers.

(d) To undertake need based programmes pertaining to employment, health education, in the field of agriculture and industrial development.

(e) To undertake relevant programmes in the field of agricultural development.

(f) To provide opportunities for workers, students,and youth to participate in cooperative activities related to development.

(g) Initiate and establish interstate development project in presence of which to establish branches, offices and regional committees.

(h) To diffuse information all matters concerning adult education and development and with that object subscribe for, print, publish circulate such paper without any profit.

(i) To conduct seminars, training programs., including vocational training and such other related activities to promote that object of the trust.

(j) To enter into collaboration with other agencies both governmental and Voluntary agencies in development activities.

(k) To provide relief to people who are afflicted by natural calamities resettling refugees.

(l) To provide shelter and education facilities and to take care of health Problems in respect of both destitute children and old age person.
